How Do the BTL Emsculpt Abdomen and Buttocks Treatments Work?

Body Sculpting

As the first and only non-invasive body shaping procedure that simultaneously addresses both muscle and fat, Emsculpt is a groundbreaking approach to sculpting the abdomen. Bringing an entirely new technology to the forefront, Emsculpt utilizes HIFEM energy to induce powerful muscle contractions, which builds muscle and burns fat.

Muscle represents about 35% of the human body, but previous aesthetic treatments have only addressed fat. Emsculpt introduces a first-of-its-kind application of a unique magnetic field. The HIFEM technology penetrates through the skin to impact fat, as well as muscle tissues. Once penetrated, the energy induces 20,000 supramaximal muscle contractions that are accompanied by a rapid metabolic reaction in fat cells to not only strengthen and build muscle, but also reduce fat. This is the only technology that builds muscle and burns fat simultaneously — all while leaving the surrounding tissues unaffected.

Emsculpt has been FDA-cleared for the improvement of abdominal tone and strengthening of the abdominal muscles, helping our New Jersey patients achieve next-level contouring results.

Non-Surgical Butt Lift in Englewood, MJ

Parakh Plastic Surgery introduces the first and only non-invasive buttock lift procedure with no injections necessary.

Utilizing HIFEM technology to induce powerful muscle contractions, Emsculpt is FDA-cleared to strengthen, tone, and firm the buttocks.

This provides a safe and completely non-invasive alternative to popular yet controversial surgical and injectable procedures. Delivering almost 20,000 muscular contractions in a 30-minute session, Emsculpt increases the strength and tone of the gluteal region to help even athletic and fit patients take their buttocks to the next level.

The unique application of the HIFEM technology penetrates through the skin to impact muscle tissue. Once penetrated, the energy induces supramaximal muscle contractions that are not achievable by the human brain and results in toning, firming, and strengthening of the buttocks.

What are the Treatments Like?

The Emsculpt procedure is non-invasive and requires no pre or post-treatment preparation. The actual procedure feels like an intensive workout — while you’re reclining. The panel(s) will be strapped to the treatment area. These panels emit electromagnetic field energy, causing the muscles to contract involuntarily. This sensation feels like a small zap, and while not painful, it can be uncomfortable. However, most patients find it very tolerable and worth it. In addition, you get more and more used to the contractions as the session progresses. The level of contractions can be adjusted based on your comfort level.

Downtime and Results

Although there is no downtime, after each treatment of Emsculpt in New Jersey you will feel quite sore afterward — similar to how you would feel after a very intense workout.

Positive results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session. For optimal results, four 30-minute treatment sessions over the course of a two-week period are recommended. The best results will be seen after three months, with continued improvement over a six-month time period.
